TRX traded at $0.3231 on 17 July 2026 when TronWeekly flagged $0.364 as the next upside level, with the $0.314–$0.335 band acting as support. Three days later, on 20 July, TRX is $0.3268 — still inside that band, market cap $31.0 billion, 24-hour spot volume $256.8 million. The band has held. This piece is about what is holding it, and what would have to change for $0.364 to become reachable rather than merely quotable.
Nothing here is a forecast. $0.364 is a level someone drew on a chart. Below we set out the conditions that would have to hold for it to matter, and the conditions that would make it irrelevant.
What the $0.314–$0.335 band is actually made of
A support level is only as good as the flows underneath it. Three of them are measurable on TRON right now.
Staked supply. Tronscan’s witness data shows 44,311,021,443 TRX currently cast in votes for Super Representatives — 46.7% of the 94,873,576,295 TRX in circulation. Voted TRX is staked TRX, and staked TRX carries an unstake delay before it can reach an exchange. That does not make it unsellable. It makes it slow, which is why a support band on TRX tends to grind rather than snap.
Treasury accumulation. Tron Inc. bought 151,976 TRX at an average $0.3290 in the purchase TronWeekly reported, taking its holdings above 705.3 million tokens; a subsequent 153,993 TRX purchase lifted it past 705.6 million. Two things are true at once. That is a buyer transacting inside the support band, at $0.329, which is real. It is also roughly 0.74% of supply in total — a rounding error against $31 billion of market cap. Treat it as a signal about intent, not as a floor.
Fee demand. Between 11 and 18 July the network consumed between 158 billion and 224 billion units of energy per day (Tronscan daily statistics). Energy is what a USDT transfer spends. That demand does not care what TRX costs, which makes it the least sentiment-driven bid on this list.
What would have to be true for $0.364
$0.364 is about 11% above spot. For it to be a reasonable expectation rather than a wish, these would need to hold together, not individually:
- Daily active accounts staying above roughly 4.5 million. Tronscan recorded 4.50M on 15 July, 5.06M on 16 July, 4.83M on 17 July, then 4.44M on 18 July. The 16 July print is the strongest of the month. If the series settles back toward the 4.15M seen on 12 July, the usage argument for a higher price weakens.
- USDT float on TRON holding above $90 billion. It is $90.22 billion today, moving $31.89 billion in 24 hours. Stablecoin float is the single most load-bearing number on this chain. A visible drawdown here undercuts everything else.
- Spot volume expanding on the way up. Today’s $256.8 million is thin. A move to $0.364 on volume like that is a move that can be given back in a session.
- No break of $0.314 first. Which brings us to the part most price posts skip.
Invalidation: what kills this
The $0.364 idea is dead, not delayed, if TRX closes a daily candle below $0.314. That is the floor of the band TronWeekly identified, and it is the level AMBCrypto also flagged as the defended zone. Below it there is no nearby structure to reference, and the honest answer is that the next level is wherever bids reappear — not a number anyone can name in advance.
Two other things would invalidate the setup without any price break at all:
- Usage rolling over while price holds. If active accounts and USDT transfer counts fall for a week while TRX sits at $0.327, the support is being held by positioning rather than demand. That is a weaker floor than it looks.
- A supply event. A large unstake wave or a treasury reversal changes the arithmetic above. Both are visible on-chain before they are visible on the chart.
Timeframe and assumptions. Everything here is framed over the next two to four weeks, assumes no exogenous macro shock, and assumes the stablecoin regulatory picture does not move against TRON-hosted USDT. Change any of those and the analysis does not survive.
What a TRON user can do while this resolves
If you hold TRX and you are waiting out the range, the staked supply figure above is also an opportunity. Staking TRX produces energy and bandwidth rather than leaving the position idle — our guide on whether staking TRX gives you energy or bandwidth covers which resource you actually get and why it matters, and TRON voting rewards covers the SR side.
If you are sending USDT rather than trading it, the price range is largely irrelevant to your costs — but the energy price is not. Burning TRX for energy costs 0.0001 TRX per unit at the current chain parameter (the getEnergyFee chain parameter is 100 sun). Renting the same energy on the TronSave energy market is materially cheaper per transfer, and it decouples your transfer costs from whatever TRX does inside this band. How much energy a USDT transfer actually needs has the per-transaction numbers.
FAQ
Is $0.364 a price prediction for TRX?
No. It is a chart level published by TronWeekly on 17 July 2026, roughly 11% above spot. This article sets out what would have to be true for it to be reached and what would invalidate it. Nobody, including us, knows whether TRX gets there.
What is the support level for TRX right now?
The band under discussion is $0.314–$0.335, with $0.314 as the floor. A daily close below $0.314 invalidates the setup described here.
How much TRX is staked?
44,311,021,443 TRX is currently cast in Super Representative votes — about 46.7% of the 94.87 billion circulating supply, per Tronscan. Voting requires staking, so this is a reasonable proxy for staked supply, though not an exact one.
Does TRX price affect my USDT transfer fees on TRON?
Only if you pay fees by burning TRX. Fees are denominated in energy units, and energy burned costs a fixed 0.0001 TRX each — so a higher TRX price means a higher dollar cost per transfer. Staking or renting energy insulates you from that.
